At your back door step is the Delatite River and thew wonderful outdoor scenery of the Victorian High Country. Trout jump out of the water to tease you and daily visits from kangaroos, birds and the occasional deer make the stay even more exciting. A wonderful location for professional and amateur photographers, nature lovers and anyone who desires something very special.

Play Shack^® comfortably caters for 3-4 families, providing 4 king bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms and have beautifully designed interiors, both have fireplaces and there is an abundance of play equipment, inside and ‎outside.

Inside, families are extremely spoilt. Two distinct wings of the main house provide peace and quiet: on the ground floor there are beautiful vistas of the river and hills, while upstairs caters for fun and games for kids and adults in a spectacular games room with floor to ceiling windows and a rumpus area full of play equipment. Who can resist such classics as pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball table and the classic Pacman arcade games console table. Our cupboards are full of games, books, toys, DVDs, and drawing items. Over at Play Shack^® 4, there is an open plan living area with kitchenette, dining area and lounge area overlooking a dam and distant hills‎.

Outside there is so much space and privacy for the entire family. Adults can enjoy a quiet rest or drink by the river while the kids use the play equipment such as the trampoline, swing set and bikes, followed by a play in the river.

We are often asked, "Is it really as good as the pictures?" We are sorry to say it's not - it is even BETTER. Our guests tell us "it was beyond our expectations."

A family orientated accommodation, Play Shack^® will provide the ideal setting for many small and intimate special memories and occasions, which can be made even more special by bringing in a chef to come to the property to either deliver or prepare and serve gourmet meals for all tastes.

There is so much for all to do that, by choice, we have no TV reception. We would love our guests to take full advantage of the unique qualities of the property and outdoor pleasures at your doorstep. With this decision, we hope to encourage friends and family to enjoy each other’s company at this special setting. With the feedback we get from guests on their departure, we know we have achieved this. However, we do have two DVD players and a large library of DVDs for all ages for those who require a TV fix.

COVID-19: Due to requirements issued by the Victorian Government, additional time is required to prepare all accommodation. This is for everyones protection. This includes using different cleaning techniques in addition to, but not limited to, cleaning all switches, all handles, all remotes and controls etc. Therefore Check-In time is from 4pm and Check-Out time is by 10am. We appreciate your co-operation to adhere to these times during this difficult period.
